The Fullerton Collaborative Appoints New Leader
After 15 years at the helm of the Fullerton Collaborative, Pam Keller stepped down from the position on June 30. The Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Debra Stout, of DoctorS Nonprofit Consulting, as the next executive director effective July 1. In this capacity, Dr. Stout will coordinate all of the Collaborative’s programs, projects, grants, and events. The Fullerton Collaborative is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation that brings members together to improve the health of Fullerton.
Dr. Stout has worked in the business, education and nonprofit community in Southern California for over 20 years. Her experience includes working for the Orange County Department of Education, where she helped coordinate and facilitate countywide prevention and positive youth development efforts. She has volunteered on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards for a variety of local and county-wide efforts for troubled youth and related issues. Today, she uses her experience to assist a variety of nonprofit programs in Southern California thru DoctorS Nonprofit Consulting which she founded with her husband Dr. Dallas Stout in 2004. Dr. Stout is on the faculty at California State University, Fullerton and University of the Rockies.
“We chose Dr. Debra Stout for her many gifts as well as her enthusiasm for working with the non-profits in our community,” said Fullerton Collaborative Board Chairman Tommy Nixon. “The entire Board of Directors looks forward to working with Dr. Stout as she continues to nurture and grow the Fullerton Collaborative."
Founded in 1989, the Fullerton Collaborative is a cooperative of executive directors, educators, activists, community service leaders and volunteers dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community. As an alliance of nonprofit organizations and individuals who enjoy making “good things” happen for the community, we are able to provide community assistance where we are needed most. Our unique partnership allows us to help each other accomplish goals. We encourage our members and the Fullerton Community to “think collaboratively.”
