WHAT TO BRING

Make sure you bring business cards for the networking opportunities. If you have a laptop, bring it just in case, so you can follow along, practice and/or take notes during the presentations. Also, bring ideas of what you'd like to see in this meetup! I want the meetup to be shaped by its members!

Parking
Parking is free. They have signs for 2 to 3 hour parking. So look around.

Food
We'll have some light snacks, so if you get hungry around the time of the meetup, I'd recommend you eat prior!

Cost
The meetups will always be free (or close to free as possible to cover for snacks). For now, there is no charge at all!

Other
Since this is our first meetup, it may go smoothly, or it may not. But I promise that we'll figure it out by the 2nd meetup and be better then! So if things are not super smooth, apologies ahead of time!

In this presentation you’ll learn about VR, what it can do, and what tools/resources you can use to get started on a project. This is an introductory presentation for those that have never developed VR content.

Steven is a VR Evangelist for HTC Vive. He is studying to be a Unity Developer at UploadLA. His passion lies in exploring new technology that can bring a positive impact in the way we communicate together.

Marcelo Lewin
Marcelo Lewin is the founder of HowToCreateVR.com and works at the intersection of e-Learning, Filmmaking and VR, managing a great team of e-Learning Developers with the goal of creating and delivering top-notch content. He's also an e-Learning creator himself, a podcaster, a filmmaker, a web developer and is currently obsessed with virtual reality, both as a gaming platform and as an exceptional training tool.
