California Secretary of State Pop-Up Shop: Apostille & Domestic Partnership Services

The California Secretary of State, in partnership with the Orange County Clerk-Recorder's Office, is bringing its Pop-Up Shop event series to Orange County!

This special event provides residents, businesses, and organizations with convenient access to in-person Apostille services without having to travel to a California Secretary of State office.

New for 2026! In-person Domestic Partnership registration services are now available at all California Secretary of State Pop-Up Shop events.

Services Available

Apostille Services

An Apostille is an official certificate that authenticates the signature of a California public official on a document intended for use in another country. This service is particularly valuable for businesses, professionals, and individuals handling international documents, including notarized records, business documents, and personal legal records.

Domestic Partnership Registration

New in 2026, attendees can access in-person Domestic Partnership registration services. Under California law, registered domestic partners generally receive the same state-level rights, protections, benefits, and responsibilities as married spouses.
