39th Congressional District Candidate Forum

North Orange County Chamber (NOCC) in partnership with the US Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate’s forum for those seeking to represent the 39th District in Congress on Thursday, March 29, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Fullerton Community Center. Rick Reiff, Editor at Large for the Orange County Business Journal will moderate the forum.

Please be advised that campaign materials including but not limited to posters, buttons, flyers and stickers will not be allowed in Fullerton Community Center during the event.  

“This forum provides the business community an opportunity to address questions relating to issues currently being discussed in congress including free trade, foreign policy, budget and immigration,” explained Theresa Harvey, Chamber President & CEO. “It’s important that voters make informed decisions,” she continued, “and this forum provides an opportunity to meet candidates and learn more about those who would like to represent them in Congress.”

Candidates confirmed to participate in the Congressional forum include:
Bob Huff, Sam Jammal, Young Kim, Shawn Nelson, Andy Thorburn, and  Mai-Khan Tran.

Rick Reiff (pronounced Reef) is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, four-time Golden Mike winner and three-time Emmy nominee. He has covered Orange County for 27 years in print and 15 years on air.

He is host and producer of “Inside OC with Rick Reiff,” which airs on PBS SoCal, KDOC and Cox. Reiff previously co-hosted "Studio SoCal" on PBS SoCaL, and produced and hosted the station's "SoCal Insider with Rick Reiff" and an earlier version of “Inside OC with Rick Reiff.”

He is editor at large of the Orange County Business Journal and is its former editor and “OC Insider” columnist.
