The Fullerton Community Center provides a free preventive health care program from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

Registered nurse Lori Funke of the Orange County Health Care Agency offers screenings which may include blood pressure, pulse, hearing, vision, hemoccult, hemoglobin, blood sugar, urine, height and weight, oral/dental and skin.

Health and nutritional assessments, counseling and individualized health care plans are also offered. 
These assessments are performed in an effort to help people coordinate their care with their doctors and specialists.  

Appointments are required and may be made by calling the Fullerton Community Center at (714) 738-6305, or by coming to the center, which is temporarily housed at St. Mary’s Church, 400 W. Commonwealth Ave., Room 8B, during construction of a new community center.

Persons requiring special accommodations to attend their appointment are asked to notify the center staff prior to their appointment day.
